Setting Up a SQL database

In HELM, goto Home > Users > username > Domains > domain-name > Databases and add/create a SQL 2005 database. Then create the Database's user.

Now you can populate the SQL DB via an install script

OR

You can create a SQL file of your database and then upload it via the oSql command line tool that comes with SQL Management Studio and stays at C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Binn
The syntax should be as follows:

osql -S <server> -U <user> -P <password> -i <script_file>.sql


OR

Administer it via http://mssqladmin.asphostingserver.com or http://mssqladmin.asphostingcluster.com (using the DB user's username & password to login)

OR

Any 3rd party SQL tool.

OR

You can upload (FTP) a backup file (.bak format) of you local SQL DB installation to the server and make a support ticket with the following information for us to restore it for you,
Domain:
Server:
Database name:
Database user:
Database user password:
Database type:
Exact location and name of backup file:
